01 Identity & recognition
For people whose lives are more complex than the categories used to define them.
Four movements
The Identity Gap traces the movement from the stories we inherit and the systems we move through, to recognising the gap, and deciding what we carry forward.
The narratives that shape us before we ever consciously choose them.
The structures that shape recognition, belonging and what becomes possible.
What happens when lived experience outgrows the stories available to explain it.
What becomes possible when you can recognise what shaped you, and decide what you carry forward.
A community and five courses, from the stories you inherit to the self you author.
Each one builds on the last.
Born in Bulgaria, raised in France, twenty years in the UK, back in Paris now. In every one of those places, someone read me as the foreigner. The Circle is the room I needed then: a place to find language for what that gaze does, and to stop living by it.

Joining the Circle is free, and The Reflection Practice is open to every member from the day you join. The five courses are paid, and taken at your own pace: video sessions, study papers and reflection prompts, with other members to think alongside.
